QuickGig connects people directly — there's no in-app chat, escrow, or identity verification yet. That means a bit more common sense from everyone helps a lot.

Agree the job, pay, and timing clearly before you travel.
Never send money up front — arrange payment on completion, in person.
Tell someone where you're going if you're meeting a stranger.
Trust your instincts — you can always decline or walk away.

Job listings only ever show an approximate area, never an exact address.
Your phone number is only shared with the other party after you or they accept.
Requesters choose which worker(s) to accept — expressing interest doesn't reveal your number.

Insurance status on every van listing is self-declared by the provider — QuickGig does not verify insurance, licensing, or vetting at this stage. Before booking, ask the provider to confirm they have insurance appropriate for your job, including cover for carrying third-party goods where relevant.

QuickGig does not process payment for the moving/transport work — agree this directly with the provider, on completion, in person.
Van listings are for goods transport only — never passenger transport (lifts, taxi-style journeys).
Waste removal, hazardous goods, and commercial/international haulage aren't offered through QuickGig.
Never hand over cash, jewellery, or other high-value goods to an unverified provider without your own checks.

Every job and van listing page has a report option for scams, spam, unsafe requests, or anything else that doesn't feel right. Reports are reviewed by a human and never reveal who reported them.
