Questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Job alerts are free, by email or WhatsApp. The only worker fee on QuickGig is £1.99 after you've completed a job.
How many messages will I get?
You choose: every matching job, urgent jobs only, or at most three alerts a day. You can also set quiet hours when nothing is sent.
What's in an alert?
The kind of work, a short title, when it's needed, how long it should take, the pay and the general area. Never the exact address or full postcode.
How do I stop?
Reply STOP to any alert and WhatsApp messages stop straight away. You can also turn WhatsApp off in your alert settings and keep email alerts.
Do I need WhatsApp to get alerts?
No. Email alerts work without it. WhatsApp is optional and only used if you turn it on.
What if there are no jobs near me yet?
QuickGig is still growing in many areas. Setting up alerts now means you hear about new jobs nearby when they're posted.
